This photo was taken from inside The Wonderful World of Abstraction, a work by Jacob Dahlgren, at the Kiasma Museum in Helsinki (until next February). You are explicitly invited to walk through the work, in order to feel the spatial sensation. The ribbons are very straight. I wonder if they were ironed one by one, like rhythmic gymnasts do with their ribbons before competitions.
I enjoyed very much my visit to the Kiasma. They even have have real punk kids sitting on the front lawn.
Other highlights were Story Café by Johanna Lecklin, the short film 99 Years of My Life by Marja Mikkonen, I Love My Job videos by Tellervo Kalleinen and Oliver Kochta-Kalleinen.
