Momijigari

There’s a new tree in the garden, it’s young and it possesses maybe twenty leaves, still lingering, once is yellow one is red one is brown and so on. A miniature Autumn. The other trees have lost most of their leaves, so now I’m able to see the distant red farmhouse (and hopefully soon the grazing sheep).

The other day I went to check the food I had left for the hedgehogs, the dish was empty and overturned.

Nearly ready for winter.
