Frances Ha is sophisticated and sweet. You’ll love it, whoever you are, unless you hate cinema. I don’t recommend it, in fact, if you hate cinema. While if you just can’t stand ballet then don’t worry, there’s not much of that, really, it’s not like Altman’s The Company where you’re forced to endure all that (fascinating but exhausting) modern and contemporary dancing.
I missed Sophie when she was not around, I didn’t know why, there was just something about her. So I researched her after the film, well it turns out she’s Sting’s daughter, can you believe it?
